Project Coordinator, Store Development, the Americas


  • Please note that this is not a Visual Merchandising role.


Overview: Based in the New York City office, The Project Coordinator, Store Development is responsible for supportive functions within the Department in all phases of retail, wholesale, and corporate office projects. This person will be a dual-report into the Senior Project Manager and Maintenance Manager of the Department.


Responsibilities:

Project Management Support – Design and Construction Phase

  • Support and coordinate orders for FF&E for projects in construction
  • Log and code all invoices to project budget sheets.
  • Coordinate submittals for international shop-in-shops, assembling approval packages and overseeing installations with local PM vendors.
  • Participate as needed on corporate office projects, including office renovations, furniture installations or special projects.
  • Participate in inter-departmental calls.
  • Assist Senior Project Manager with development and organization of design concepts and materials library
  • Maintain furniture and fixture inventory with manufacturers and storage warehouses
  • Maintain electronic project folders including GC site reports, photos, drawings, contracts, p.o.’s
  • Assist with researching alternative materials/finishes, millwork, vendors, etc as needed.
  • Flexibility to partner on projects outside of scope.


Repairs and Minor Works – Existing boutiques

  • Assists Maintenance and Repairs Manager in maintaining our boutiques and facilities across The Americas, and our corporate offices.
  • Coordinates and executes Minor Works for all our boutiques across The Americas – including but not limited to: Fixture updates, millwork repairs, reupholstery
  • Initiates, coordinates, and executes corrective procedures to remedy boutique and office maintenance deficiencies
  • Performs common administrative tasks. {placing online orders, submitting purchase requisitions, coordinating deliveries, shipping packages, onboarding vendors, processing payments, etc.}
  • Aids in implementation, data collection/processing, and general carrying out of CSR {Corporate Social Responsibility} initiatives effecting all facilities. Communicates effectively with all our boutique and corporate teams.
  • Request quotes, orders and track furniture and fixture deliveries, confirm scheduled and coordinate jobsite access


Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience working in a supportive role for store design, construction, or facilities, with high end/luxury or contemporary retail preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required: Architecture, Engineering, or adjacent major preferred.
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proactive in bringing ideas to the table to improve coordination and processes within the team.
  • High level written and oral communication skills mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience with stores & shop-in-shops will be given priority.
  • Intermediate to advanced CAD skills, and ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Good understanding of Construction processes.
  • Solid decision-making skills based on changing conditions.
  • Team player in both retail and corporate environments, “no task is too big or too small” attitude; is committed, positive, and reliable.
  • Adheres to company policy and confidentiality - is a true ambassador for the brand with strong sense of corporate responsibility - setting the standard.

In accordance with the New York City Commission on Human Rights and in compliance with the Salary Transparency Law, Christian Louboutin envisions the general compensation range for this position to be $50,000 - $60,000 per YEAR.


*This range is NOT inclusive of other forms of compensation or benefits such as commissions, overtime, discretionary bonus, health insurance, retirement savings or paid leaves of absence. Such details will be further communicated during the interview process and/or at the time of an official offer of employment.
