About This Role:

The project coordinator role is a critical role within the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Cybersecurity organization. The project coordinator will report directly to the Head of Cyber Programs and work across the Cybersecurity leadership team to support financial analysis and project planning across the teams’ portfolio and recurring budgets.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with finance to complete monthly close activities like driving accruals process to ensure they are completed, analyze variances, and maintain management reports to communicate financial performance.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance, develop plans for any required updates and drive the implementation of the monthly financial updates.
  • Work with program and project leads and internal stakeholders to build and manage program financial plans.
  • Prepare reports for Cyber leadership to ensure informed decisions can be made about activities throughout the year.
  • Prepare reports providing data to update materials for monthly CIO functional reviews.
  • Develop and track our supplier spend, with recommendations to unlock additional value.
  • Partner with Sourcing to manage timely execution of software license renewals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including IT, finance, and project leads, to ensure alignment on financial management.
  • Support procurement activities by assisting project leads with submitting purchase requisitions and tracking purchase orders that are compliant with the financial plan.
  • Support vendor inquiries by partnering with Accounts Payable department to research invoices and/or other accounts payable issues.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to strive for automation and improved accuracy wherever possible.

Who You Are

You have demonstrated your abilities in a financial planning and analysis role supporting an IT organization. You are interested in technology and would be open to learning about Cybersecurity. You can see the big picture but can also work at the detailed level required to effectively deliver results. You are self-starter that can identify and seize opportunities to improve processes and optimize costs. You are analytical and are passionate about using data to drive business decisions.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance mandatory, preferably with some experience supporting an IT function
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with financial forecasting, budgeting and results reporting at an enterprise level.
  • Strong analytic abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Above average Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with reporting tools and dashboards (e.g. Power BI)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within teams or matrixed organization.
  • BS/BA or University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other relevant background

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity w/Oracle or SAP, Hyperion and Business Objects
  • Existing FinOps Certified Practitioner certification
  • Smartsheet experience

Pay ranges between $50-58/hr based on experience
