Job Summary

The Project Coordinator assists on medium-large scale, complex projects, working closely with the project managers to create, maintain and monitor project documentation. The Project Coordinator leads the project management process for small scale projects working closely with stakeholders in defining the project scope and schedule and will oversee the entire project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

PMP Certification preferred and/or working knowledge of project management principles and practices. Strong analytical and technical abilities. Ability to independently deliver high quality, organized and repeatable results. Factual, direct style of communication. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Knowledge and skills normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Project Management: Collaborates with all relevant stakeholders in the definition of project scope and objectives. Articulates small projects into detailed project documentation. Monitors and tracks progress of projects, reporting on performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Formally manages changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget. Formally identifies and manages project risk, reporting and escalating issues to management as needed. Manages the relationship with the sponsor and all stakeholders ensuring the implementation of a formal communication plan. Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Project Management Support: Maintains and monitors project plans for Senior Project Manager. Organizes, attends, and participates in stakeholder meetings to support the Senior Project Manager. Documents and follows up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings. Undertakes project tasks as required. Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Project Management Office Administration: Supports the Project Management Office in the development and refinement of templates, tools, and practices. Contributes to the development and delivery of project management training materials.
  • Leadership: Actively participates in or coordinates team activities.


Leading The Real Estate & Capital Project Team’s Communications And Reporting Efforts, The Project Coordinator Develops Strategies To Shape Informative Project Communications And Reports To Both Internal And External Stakeholders That Are Clear, Informative, And Relevant By

  • Engaging effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify project communication requirements and gaps, as well as offer solutions.
  • Leveraging enterprise systems, platforms, and tools to gather data insights for reporting purposes.
  • Developing inclusive written correspondence, reports and presentations for the project management team that supports both top-down and bottom-up usability.
  • Facilitating Real Estate & Capital Project departmental gatherings and meetings.
  • Organizing and managing details/assignments for project management team.
  • Representing the Real Estate & Capital Project team on special projects that contribute to an inclusive, data-driven project plan and execution.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, general project management, communications, or a related field including 2 years of professional experience in one of those areas of study. A combination of education and 4 or more years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.

  • Proven skills in general project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify challenges and implement creative solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to work with people from various backgrounds, cultures, nationalities, linguistic styles, and socio-economic status.
  • Proficiency in compiling and presenting information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural documents.
  • Proficiency with standard computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook).
  • Proficiency in eBuilder, AutoCAD, Revit, & the Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • This position requires a criminal background check.
