Project Controls Cost Engineer

Description/Function:

• Assists in development and integration of cost updates, reporting, and analysis utilizing Procore and Microsoft Excel software.
• Retrieve and assist in compiling accrual, actual cost, and invoice monthly report data.
• Log, route and track change management documentation.
• Confirm subcontract committed Work in Place in alignment with subcontractor projections.
• Collaborate with Schedule, Procurement and Estimating teams to determine Work Breakdown Structure alignment.
• Reconcile project labor hour plans and projections.
• Prepares project budgets in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Initiate and develop trend analysis.
• Prepare and coordinate cost reports.
• Collects and classifies monthly financial data.
• Performs project planning and data analysis.
• Performs duties including but not limited to Project Controls lifecycle Management.
• Prepare and present data to project managers, stakeholders, and client as necessary.
• Adaptable to change and impromptu project requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5 – 8 years of Project Controls Cost Engineering experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Construction, Engineering, Contract, Procurement processes
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Procore with emphasis on Financial Management module
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of basic software applications such as Microsoft Excel and Teams
• Knowledge of Deltek and Power Bi preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
