David Mladenka is a Senior Manager for LHH Consulting, a CFO advisory and project execution services firm.
LHH is currently recruiting for a Project Controller for one of our clients in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate must have Construction industry experience along with strong full-cycle accounting experience including percentage of completion accounting. The role will be fully onsite.
Job Duties include:
Perform general accounting and month-end close processing
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform percentage of completion accounting on individual construction projects
Travel to project sites to set up accounting for new construction projects
Perform monthly variance analysis, and present findings to management
Qualifications include:
3+ years of accounting experience including percentage of completion accounting
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Must have Construction Industry experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get into the details
Able to travel up to 30% to domestic project sites
