Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Control Specialist to join our team! In this role you will join a team of experienced project control specialists to support a rapidly growing, highly visible FEDSIM project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Creating and analyzing financial forecasts
Utilizing financial tools to mitigate risk
Facilitating the development of work breakdown structures (WBS)
Establishing baseline budgets
Coordinating with Finance personnel, Project Managers, and Subcontract Administrators
Evaluating subcontractor forecasts and actual charges
Completing customer deliverables and ad hoc reporting
Guiding project managers to ensure compliance with polices and procedures
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent)
3-8 years of related work experience
Experience in dealing with various types of contracts (e.g., firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and time and material)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work both independently and part of a team
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint
Experience with GSA FEDSIM contract vehicles
Ability to use complex/advanced Excel formulas
