Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee scheduling, forecasting, and cost control for various projects.
- Develop and implement cost control procedures, documents, and tools.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Project Managers, Contracts Director, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to develop and implement project schedules and cost planning.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely purchase of services and materials, and address any delays promptly.
- Handle multiple projects for commercial and Government clients.
- Develop estimates at completion (EACs) and provide inputs for annual financial planning and quarterly financial forecasts.
- Report to the CFO and support the program management teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Onsite presence required in the Charleston Metropolitan, SC area.
- At least seven years of related experience, with a background in construction project scheduling using Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Capable of performing Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and other scheduling-related contractual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent planning, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision needed.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Courteous, professional, and diplomatic demeanor.
- High level of confidentiality.
Preferred Experience:
- U.S. Government construction project experience.
- Design/build project experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications:
- CPMP Certification preferred.
