The Project Assistant position is a direct-hire position working for HGA in either our Ruston, LA office or our Shreveport, LA office.
The Project Assistant supports various Business Units in the development, technical editing, and writing for materials including proposals and presentations.
Project Assistant Duties & Responsibilities
Review RFPs/RFQs for submission requirements
Assist with assigning proposal sections to writers
Create and manage proposal development timeline with review and production milestones to meet submittal deadline
Assist with writing, editing, and formatting of proposals
Assist in updating resumes for use in proposals
Assist with tracking and reporting on proposals, including use of the Customer Relationship Management software
Qualifications:Project Assistant Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
3+ years of experience in technical writing/editing, or directly related experience required
Experience with developing proposals in response to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications (RFPs/RFQs) is preferred
Advanced Microsoft Word formatting skills and intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills required
Detail oriented with the ability to work in a team environment needed
Proven ability to work under demanding time constraints with a sense of urgency
Candidates must be located within daily commuting distance of either Ruston or Shreveport, LA.
