Location: Colorado

Trileaf is seeking a full time, SOI-Qualified, field Project Archaeologist in St. Louis, MO. This individual should have at least 2 years of field experience and applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically related to telecommunications projects. This position is remote, with a preferred location of within the St. Louis, MO vicinity.

Responsibilities And Duties

The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion Phase I telecom surveys, review of SHPO file for above and below ground cultural resources, construction monitoring, and cultural resource report writing/production. Travel to project sites may include overnight stays. Overall travel requirements average about 2 days a week.

Qualifications And Skills

To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

  • Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
  • SOI Qualified
  • Capable of field work
  • Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Good computer skills
  • Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Valid Driver License
