This role supports the Windows Consumer Category Partner and Community teams across high-impact, multifaceted deliverables. The Windows Consumer Category Partner and Community teams are responsible for positioning Windows as a trusted advisor and collaborating with regional teams and retail partners on Windows strategy through long lead planning, product advocacy, and cross-category alignment.
In the Consumer Sales Organization (CSO), our purpose is to create value with our partners, to market and sell innovative consumer solutions powered by Windows, M365, Surface, and Xbox. Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Disqualifiers: Candidates with short term assignments, or an unclear understanding of the role will not be a good fit for the role.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience with stake holder management and working with leaders in a large organization. Must be a self-starter, confident, and have the ability to make decisions. Previous MFST experience is a strong nice to have.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on ability to meet deadlines and quality of work.
- Strong Project Management, planning and organizational skills
- Collaborator and able to co-ordinate of large stakeholder groups and communities
- Excellent communication skills (particularly written)
- Proficiency in *** 365 (Office) tools and applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
Windows Product Feature Updates (Quarterly):
- Logistics and planning across Product Marketing Group (update tracking / information availability), Channel Marketing (assets and marketing guidance) and Category (communications to regions)
- Content acquisition and ongoing updates for retail pitch decks
- Consolidate feedback and best practices from regions (feedback loop)
- Agenda alignment
- Content acquisition / deck development
- Logistics (scheduling partner engagements / stakeholders / presenters)
- Canvas Windows and competitor slots from top 15 retail partners
- Document partner planning milestones and health indexes
- Logging, documenting and sharing feedback
- Other reporting and tracker support
- Triaging regional asks / questions / escalations – directing to the right stakeholders and relaying feedback
- Evolve the on-boarding framework to adapt to the needs of the community and for delivering the actual on-boarding of new field community members, ensuring that they have the resources and connections they need to ramp quickly in their region.
- Identify and evaluate regional best practices to share cross region and line of business.
- Source content for and coordinate community engagement (newsletters, community calls)
- Support HQ team on team calls, meeting prep, file organization and other needs
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Collaborator and able to co-ordinate of large stakeholder groups and communities
- Excellent communication skills (particularly written)
- Strong Project Management, planning and organizational skills
- Proficiency in *** 365 (Office) tools and applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Minimum 2-4 years experience with proficiency in *** 365 (Office) tools and applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
- Minimum 2-4 years experience with strong communications skills, written and spoken
- Minimum 2-4 years experience with Project Management, planning and organizational skills are critical
