Job Description

This Project Analyst will be a part of the Business Segment Digital Tools Enablement team which strives to enable business bankers with the tools they need to connect with customers effectively and measure success. This role will drive banker success through innovation and understanding banker processes to increase efficiency and success. This role will also serve as the primary liaison for assigned tools, working with vendors and partners to ensure that the tool is successfully maintained and utilized. The role will specifically work on tools associated with prospecting, growth and measuring success tools.

This role provides project and analytical support to assigned business line or functional area. Performs research, analysis, review, development, implementations, and monitoring of new and/or revised products/services. Acts as a project liaison with other departments. Analyzes current costs and estimates the cost or cost savings. Compiles and analyzes information for an assigned project or areas making recommendations based on findings. May supervise a team of project staff.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight to 10 years of related experience


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor relationship building and relationship management strongly preferred
  • Proficient in critical thinking and experienced in successfully managing through process improvement strongly preferred
  • Experience utilizing Power BI and Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred (pivot tables, vLookup, etc.)
  • Self-motivated individual who is driven by streamlining processes, building relationships and solving for efficiencies strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of project management
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $90,100.00 - $106,000.00 - $116,600.00
