American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is a global leader in the commercial payments solutions space and continues to be an exciting and fast-growing business dedicated exclusively to the success of businesses globally. GCS provides a range of Corporate Payments Solutions and other expense management tools to help small, mid, and large size companies around the world manage all facets of their business spending.

As a core engine that powers the GCS business and its colleagues, the Commercial Onboarding Services team plays a critical role in delivering best in class revenue empowering services and capabilities across the customer lifecycle.

The Onboarding Desk Analyst will help empower our business partners with a singular Intake onboarding strategy delivered by workflow assignment, throughput & administration of deals serviced under the various models provided by GCS during pre-sales through onboarding phases of the customer lifecycle. This role will focus primarily on the Desk’s data & analytics and will support the expansion of the Onboarding Desk to include all segments of Corporate Services.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Provide exceptional servicing of internal customers with corporate application support to improve and accelerate onboarding experience of clients
  • Triage and deliver customer-centric approach to accelerated issue resolution within the commercial onboarding process
  • Perform proactive outreach to Corporate Field representatives to drive transparency in the customer onboarding journey
  • Coach Field representatives on best practices to drive issue resolution
  • Manage internal customer expectations via thoughtful and clear communication
  • Collaborate across GCS to deliver Onboarding Desk initiatives
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests, data gathering and consolidation, and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient working with excel, power point and Salesforce
  • Great interpersonal skills, building and leveraging relationships
  • Resourcefulness in issue resolution as a proactive collaborator
  • A blend of technical and business acumen to be able to understand issues and work with business and support functions towards resolution and remediation
  • Work with a strong sense of our GCS culture of compliance
  • Candidate must reside in NY or AZ.

Salary Range: $59,400.00 to $105,100.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
