Founded in 1991, we provide business and financial assistance to owners and leaders in the field of early care and education. Our work spans three levels: Individual Child Care Business, Community, and Systems. With regional offices in five states, including Oregon, we're expanding our reach to serve more child care providers and communities statewide.
Position Overview
We're seeking an enthusiastic Program Specialist to join our growing team in Oregon. This role will provide crucial programmatic and administrative support to our programs focused on supporting child care providers regionally and across the state. As a remote position, you'll work from home with occasional in-person meetings and potential travel within Oregon.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with our Oregon team to promote and implement programs, services, and resources that support our mission
Assist with program outreach and communications, including participant recruitment and content development for various platforms
Manage logistics for in-person and virtual training events, including scheduling, outreach, and attendance reporting
Update and distribute program-related materials
Support data management and evaluation using Salesforce and SharePoint
Coordinate with our central office for administrative processes and assist with program reporting
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a nonprofit, social service, or small business setting
Experience in communications and content development (preferred)
Salesforce experience (preferred)
Direct experience with child care (strongly preferred)
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Cultural competence and experience working with diverse groups
Willingness to travel throughout Oregon as needed
