We are currently seeking a Program/Project Manager to support PMS 495 for the US Navy working hybrid at the Washington Navy Yard.

What You’ll Do

The Program/Project Manager will deliver program management, acquisition and financial support to the Navy’s Mine Warfare Program Office.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment to meet client challenges
  • Provide critical thinking and analysis
  • Build and maintain essential relationships with direct clients and supporting commands
  • Provide Financial Management support
  • Identify, conduct in-depth research, communicate issues and provide resolutions
  • Attend meetings and provide on-site/in person support as required

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with program and financial management of government programs
  • Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE) process
  • Experience with consulting and technical advisement
  • Ability to identify, conduct in-depth research, communicate, and propose resolutions to issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills helping clients manage, track, and report program status
  • Strong written, editorial, and presentation skills, including preparation and delivery of executive-level briefings and reports
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
  • Experience with DoD Acquisition or Navy Program Management Offices
  • Knowledge of DoD Instruction 5000 series, Adaptive Acquisition Framework, DoD Financial Management Regulation
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
