Job Title: Program & Project Management

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of Big Data solutions to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable and robust Big Data platforms.
• Ensure the integrity and security of Big Data solutions by implementing industry-standard best practices.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to find opportunities for data acquisition and utilization.
• Drive the optimization of data processing and storage mechanisms for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members in Big Data technologies and methodologies.
• Keep abreast of emerging Big Data trends and technologies to incorporate into projects.
• Facilitate the resolution of technical challenges in the Big Data domain.
• Ensure documentation of Big Data architectures and procedures is maintained to a high standard.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Big Data and Big Data Management.
• Solid background in Hadoop/Big Data Administration and Oracle Big Data coupled with essential industry knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are essential for cross-functional teamwork.
• Knowledge of industry essentials and the ability to apply them in a Big Data context is vital.
• A commitment to continuous learning and development in Big Data technologies is expected.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively is important.
• Certified Big Data Professional or equivalent.
  
  

Salary And Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 07/12/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,000.00 – $94,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
