Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
Experience
Required: Six years of experience public relations, communications, writing/editing or related field. With preferred degree, four years of required experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.

Corporate strategy and relationship building.
- Supports and operationalizes corporate engagement strategy.
- Develops and maintains relationships with leaders and key stakeholders, including corporations, vendors, brand ambassadors and other collaborators.
- Assists in evaluating new opportunities ensuring alignment with Cause Alliances, Philanthropy and the institutional Strategy.
- Attains strong knowledge of MD Anderson programs and services to effectively promote and represent the institution.
- Manages program visibility, integration and effectiveness.
- Develops plans, timelines and processes to execute corporate campaigns.
- Manages all aspects of a campaign, including events, patient ambassadors, campaign collateral and material distribution.
- Works with other IA teams to create video content and photography assets.
- Supports communications and marketing efforts, including public relations/earned media opportunities, social media posts and website content.
- Manages approval process for all brand assets used within sponsorship media, communications and on-site activations ensuring compliance with usage guidelines.
- Tracks campaign results and analyzes metrics to report trends and recommend campaign enhancements. Develops post-campaign recap reports. Documents outcomes for each campaign and makes recommendations for future projects.
