Join our team as a Program Coordinator I, providing essential operational support throughout the planning, implementation, and delivery of programs. This role serves as a key point of contact for program participants and offers crucial administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for program participants, ensuring excellent customer service and providing office support functions.
Facilitate communication between program participants and managerial staff.
Coordinate logistical arrangements for programs, including meetings, conferences, and banquets.
Collect, compile, and summarize program data, maintaining accurate records.
Manage program calendars and schedules effectively.
Utilize University software for financial document creation, review, and approval, as well as preparing routine financial reports for program administrators.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Three years of experience in administrative, office, or program support roles.
Proficiency in composing, proofing, and editing documents with strong grammar and punctuation skills.
Competence in using computer software for word processing, spreadsheet development, email communication, and internet research.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Education, Environmental Education, Natural Resources, or related field.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team to support project leadership.
Experience in managing interdisciplinary projects across institutions.
Technical training or advanced degree relevant to the project.
Background in production agriculture or agriculture-related businesses.
Skills in designing and formatting written and electronic promotional materials.
Familiarity with land grant university administered Extension systems.
Willingness to travel occasionally for related events, trainings, and meetings.
