Program Coordinator


Our client, an elite higher education institution in Boston, MA, is looking to hire a Program Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The individual in this role will be responsible for planning and organizing logistics and operational details for a suite of Professional Education programs in a dynamic and challenging business environment.


Compensation: $24-26/hour*

*rate listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range.


Applicants must be able to work hybrid in Boston, MA 3 days per week to be eligible for this position.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Assistant Director of Academic Operations to develop and support program-related correspondence, materials, and activities, enhancing its impact.
  • Manage administrative operations to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the program.
  • Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of program-related training and events.
  • Engage with students, faculty, and staff to foster partnerships and aid in outreach efforts to internal and external parties.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of training sessions, informational materials, and special programs.
  • Contribute to data collection, analysis, and presentation efforts to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Generate comprehensive data reports to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain the program's web presence and assist in creating promotional materials.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and uphold high standards of efficiency in a dynamic environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of academic administration or business experience preferably in a customer service setting or project management role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Able to nimbly switch gears and maintain composure and organization
  • Proactive and resourceful problem solver
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to manage numerous competing projects and tasks with minimal supervision
  • Superb customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to interact diplomatically and professionally with faculty, staff, and participants
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and make sound judgments
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom or other video conferencing applications
