Program Coordinator Position
Bioscience Core Skills Institute (BCSI) is seeking a program coordinator to join our rapidly expanding non-profit organization. Individuals who apply should be passionate about workforce development initiatives, capable of working independently with limited guidance, and be an excellent ambassador for the BCSI organization.
BCSI is a 501c3, non-profit, operating out of the Kansas City area but with national reach. We provide workforce skills assessment and digital micro-credentialing that is valid, reliable, and trusted by the bioscience industry. Working with educational and industry partners, BCSI provides assessment opportunities and documentation of skills. We know that micro-credentials help people showcase and share skills with future employers.
Estimated start date: 8/10/24
Estimated starting salary: $22/hour, 20 hours per week P/T
Benefits (after 60 day probation): one week paid vacation, paid sick leave
Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate Evaluator Team
Salesforce Evaluator Portal management
Follow up, train, and connect evaluators
Scheduling evaluators and adapting testing schedules for testing events
Coordination of Training Partners
Follow up and reconnect with previously tested programs for future testing
Updating materials to keep current and ensure professional and consistent communication
Study guides
Flyers
Powerpoint presentations
Marketing and Communication
Initial marketing outreach- information and reach out for further meetings
Oversee development of targeted email templates based on interaction with various partners.
Salesforce management and maintenance
Import and update Contacts and Accounts into Salesforce
Required qualifications:
HS Diploma
3 yrs. Administrative assistant experience
Software: Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Salesforce, Canvas Credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized and self-directed
Preferred qualifications:
Prior teaching or industry experience in biotechnology
Marketing (graphic design and content)
Non-profit experience
Experience in grant administration
Location:
Virtual/remote, 20-hour per week position
Monday-Friday daytime hours availability needed
