High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Experience
A minimum of one year of professional experience in an office setting, including experience with computer systems.

About Catholic Charities West Michigan
Catholic Charities West Michigan (CCWM) is a community-based agency providing programs in Western Michigan and offering a variety of services in family preservation, behavioral health, child welfare, and community outreach.

- Coordinates and prepares all forms, correspondence, schedules, spreadsheets, mailings, copying and reports needed by the program.
- Responsible for data entry.
- Responsible for opening and closing cases and corresponding files.
- Responsible for ordering and processing drug screens for clients, as needed.
- Process background checks and driving history checks as requested by Foster Care, Licensing, and Adoption staff in local office
- Responsible for processing hotel requests for local office.
- Process and upload court orders to MiSACWIS system, and mail out corresponding Notice of Hearing Letter to caregivers, as needed
- Responsible for processing incoming mail, and assisting with outgoing mail as needed.
- Organizes and maintains program records, files, checklists, schedules, demographics, calendars and outcome measures as needed.
- Creates program material packets.
- Performs other special assignments at supervisor’s request.
- Successfully navigate computer programs such as Excel, Word, Access, and other web-based programs.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to relate to diverse population and cultures while communicating with clients and the public in a courteous and effective manner.
