The Program Administrator for College Readiness will manage the College Readiness High School programming in Student Success Services. The program focus is to increase awareness and opportunity of college going practices and access for Native students in identified high schools and Native youth serving organizations, with the goal of increased high school completion and college enrollment for Native youth.
The program administrator for College Readiness high school programming provides expertise in the areas of college access, college admission for high school students, FAFSA, and first year experience to increase college going culture among Native students. The program administrator will establish and deepen strategic partnerships with Native student serving high school staff and organizations to promote college going strategies for youth, independent oversite of programming, and supervise College Readiness Associate.
Collaboration with Student Success Services team members and inter-departmental College Fund teammates is essential to meet organization goals and objectives. This position is also responsible for providing reports for continuous improvement and program impact.
Essential Job Functions
Lead the Implementation of College-Going Programming
Manage and ensure implementation of donor funded high school programming grants
Support effective collaboration and complimentary student services efforts for high school students with high schools, TCUs and other community partners.
Create and manage webinar presentations and events in collaboration with the Marketing and Communication Manager, College Readiness Associate and other department team members for high school participants.
Track budget for the donor funded grants. Provide Program Officer with updates and needs.
Implement pre and post surveys for high school participants. Provide data reports to Program Officer.
Provide monthly reports on data related to program progress, resource use, partner institutions and student activity.
Coordinate and support staff with travel to sites
Implement twice yearly reporting process (December and June) on high school program progress and impact.
Regular check ins with direct reports. Reviews 2 times per year with reporting staff, share and turn in to supervisor.
Support Student Success Strategic Initiatives and Objectives
Build and facilitate partnerships with high schools, community centers and organizations, and higher education institutions with concurrent enrollment.
Stay current and up to date on latest trends involving persistence and retention of Native student college going culture- high school to college.
Work with the Student Success Services team and assist other team members in meeting departmental and organization goals and objectives related to college going practices.
Work with Marketing and Student Engagement Manager to create recruiting materials, manage
webpage information, staff/faculty development materials and bridge programming for high schools and youth serving organizations.
Collaborate with College Readiness Associate and Scholarship Manager on scholarship awards for graduating high school seniors.
Create and facilitate materials for coaches site visits (presentations and handouts).
Occasional travel to sites to provide support and technical expertise to program participants and partners
Coordination and oversight of bridge programs for high school youth
Implement and facilitate guidebook distribution and data collection process.

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements
MA in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, or related field and/or four years of work experience in an education related setting
Involvement and/or experience in student affairs, grant management and program implementation.
Two years of experience working in a field related to student affairs and program implementation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with AIAN or underserved population college students and communities
Work Environment

Some hybrid and/or remote work potential with remote office space required
Up to 30% travel may be required

Supervisory Responsibility:
Position supervises the Program Associate College Readiness
