Professor of Practice in Supply Chain Management

Job Description

The School of Business at the University of Indianapolis seeks applicants for a non-tenure-track

Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice in the field of Supply Chain Management. This is a full-

time, nine-month faculty position with a start date of September 2024. Teaching focus will be in

Quality Management which entails coordinating student applied projects. The candidate will also be

responsible for teaching introductory courses in Principles of Supply Chain Management. Teaching

will be at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The normal teaching load is 24 semester hours per

academic year.

Service to the school, University, and community are also requirements for the position. The

Responsibilities- Assistant/Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management

  • Teaches 24 semester hours per academic year
  • Provides service to the school, University, and community
  • Teach management courses as needed

Qualifications- Assistant/Associate Professor Of Supply Chain Management

  • The ideal candidate has significant work experience in quality management. An MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is required. A PhD or DBA are encouraged yet not required.
  • Teaching experience not required but strongly preferred. A passion for teaching and applied learning are required.
