Production Supervisor - Filling (2nd Shift)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor - Filling (2nd Shift) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in manufacturing and filling operations, strong supervisory experience, and an understanding of safety rules and quality control. The successful candidate will be responsible for employee training, performance reviews, quality system audits, daily business operations, implementation of ISO standards, management of the ERP system, and forklift certification. They should also have knowledge in chemical manufacturing, Microsoft Office, and coatings.

Position Overview: As a Production Supervisor - Filling (2nd Shift), you will be responsible for the safety and efficiency of all filling operations in the facility. You will be responsible for managing employees, overseeing product quality, ensuring compliance with safety rules, and providing guidance to employees on their roles and duties. You will also be responsible for scheduling, problem-solving, and daily operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate employees to achieve maximum efficiency and quality
• Oversee the production and filling operations
• Ensure quality assurance and product safety standards are met
• Provide training and guidance to employees on their roles and duties
• Schedule, manage, and review daily business operations
• Maintain an ISO-compliant quality system
• Operate the ERP system and ensure compliance with established procedures
• Conduct regular safety checks and inspections
• Manage the forklift certification program
• Conduct performance reviews for all employees
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or filling operations
• Solid supervisory experience is a plus
• Preferably knowledge of chemical manufacturing and coatings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
