Pay: $75,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience

Production Supervisor Role:
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the production output for the Shop Floor. In this role you will be responsible for production from all departments and will have oversight responsibilities for quality standards. This position is hands-on and will require the ability to have pride in a hard day's work.
1st Shift SupervisorResponsibilities:
Analyzes, understands and make decisions on all aspects of the shop floor including safety, technical operational knowledge, product and information flow, customer requirements, shipping and receiving, capacity, machine capabilities, productivity and quality standards.
Manages utilization of manpower, skills, hours, material, and work flow to assure timely production and quality standards are achieved.
Leads and motivates team members through good communications, teaching, and change management techniques.
Organize and assign work; instruct, guide, and assist employees in the performance of their work.
Schedule work orders and perform spot checks and quality checks throughout the day.
Oversee the maintenance of equipment and the organization of tooling
Maintain production reports and oversee completion of operators work orders and daily paperwork
Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies.
Develop and execute training plans and conduct performance appraisals/reviews.
Manage production related tooling and supplies.
About You:
5-10 years' experience in a metal fabrication shop or equivalent industry
3-5 years' experience in hands-on fabricating or welding is required
5 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity is required
AUTO CAD or SolidWorks experience is a plus
MUST HAVE ability to read blueprints and drawings
Overhead crane/forklift experience is preferred
Strong communication, leadership and organization skills required
