Ensures maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities for efficient production; notifies management of imminent machine issue and failures and service requirements.
Setups and/or operates machines as needed.
Coordinates with quality assurance (QA) on product quality and documents.
Arranges to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained.
Retrofits existing machines for better function.
Maintains records of departmental activities, as required.
Monitors consumables as needed.
Ensures adherence production output schedule.
Supervises activities of assigned personnel.
Directs employees with respect to production volume, cost quality, schedules and delivery dates.
Sets priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines, develops plans to meet short and long-term objectives.
Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Recommends the hiring and release of production personnel as required to maintain production schedules.
Establishes accountabilities and goals used for performance evaluation.
Coordinates with management and production planner to establish working schedules for the implant machine center.
Stimulates maximum efficiency and productivity of supervisors and production workers.
Confers with management to establish working schedules for departments.
Keeps records of departmental activities, as required.
Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Pay Range: $28.00-$31.00 p/hr
