Production Supervisor

What you will do as a Production Supervisor:

• Oversee the day-to-day activities geared towards the paint line
• Manage paint line operators
• Prep metal products for powder coating applications
• Load and unload parts from the paint line
• Assist with the preparation of parts for powder coating applications
• Monitor the paint application process to ensure consistent and even coating of products
• Conduct quality inspections of painted products to identify defects, ensure adherence to specifications, and make necessary adjustments
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the paint line, including coordination product changeovers and assisting with line setup
• Notify management of any production or quality issues that may arise and collaborate to implement corrective actions
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training employees

What you need to be a Production Supervisor:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous Powder Coating experience strongly preferred
• 2+ years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience with teams of 10 employees or greater
• Ability to continually stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
• Technical understanding of painting and machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
