Production Supervisor

Constellation Search Group is immediately hiring a Production Supervisor with a fantastic manufacturing client out of Chattanooga, TN.

Day-to-Day: The Supervisor will come in see what the orders are for the day with the team then relay those instructions to each of the areas, so the team members know their goals for the shift. Once that is relayed, the Supervisor will go around checking in on the progress of the orders and ensuring they get completed.

In the morning, the Supervisor will also send an email out confirming what high-priority orders will be completed and shipped that day and throughout the day they will provide updates on where the order is in process in the building. By the end of the day those high priority orders should be out the door or already shipped.

• This is a boots-on-the-ground position, being visible to the team and adjusting where people should be depending on the need. The Supervisor should never have to do the job BUT should be aware of the process and adjust where needed to ensure he has the right people in the right place.
  
  

Seeking someone with a team lead or supervisory background who knows how to use excel, understands hitting KPIs, & is comfortable being on the floor/ boots on the ground daily.

Can understand what orders are the priority to complete, can put together what's going to ship that day, train and understand production flow, and ultimately be the right-hand to the plant manager.

Team Size: 50-70 people on first shift, 35-45 people on 2nd shift. This position will flow into 2nd shift and oversee the project hand-offs

This is a direct hire position offering base salary $65,000-$75,000 and full-benefits.
