Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Central Package and Display is searching for an experienced Production Manager / Supervisor to oversee production operations and manage / direct plant personnel to achieve production goals. Production operations include corrugated, folding carton, and maintenance.
Duties And Responsibilities
Work with Scheduler and Production Manager to schedule production orders for 2nd shift
Supervise & Train Personnel: Assign personnel to specific tasks, monitor team for quality and efficiency, and provide instruction and guidance as needed
Assures Quality Controls are maintained, and inspections are completed per Company standards
Monitor Safety: Strive to prevent injuries and accidents by monitoring safety within the department and make recommendations to improve safeguards
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Team Leadership: The ability to effectively manage union leads and production workers
Time Management: Highly organized and ability to multi-task
Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Familiarity with manufacturing software a plus
Excellent Attendance, highly motivated and a self-starter
Physical Demands: Must be able to work full time, working Monday through Thursday afternoon/evening schedule
Required Experience
Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Manager in Manufacturing (minimum of 3 years)
Corrugated Industry Experience is preferred
