About The Production Manager Position
Production Managers in the Production Department report to the Production Director and are responsible for advancing, operations, and settlements within their scope of assignments. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manage, advance, and oversee Production and/or Artist Relations operations for a given show or festival depending the show’s size and scope
Maintain proper documentation of show expenses and settlements
Maintain accurate vendor records, following all procurement procedures
Ensure all procedures are cost effective
Soliciting stage designs when required and maintaining communication with the stage designer
Soliciting production quotes for the given design for sound, video, lights, and special effects and maintaining given budget
Advance technical details for a single stage with artists and vendors
Advance food and beverage/hospitality requirements for a given stage’s acts
Coordinate riders, shops, transports with Production Assistants, Promoter Reps or Venue Staff
Ensure information is distributed to vendors, venues, and support staff on a timely basis
Assist in managing stage, sound, and lighting crews
Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
Assist and support other production department personnel with job functions as needed
Creates load in, run of show, and load out schedules for each show
Scheduling appropriate number of production staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelines
Advancing vendor, staff, and artist needs
Maintain regular communications with the Production Director
Scheduling and liaisoning leads and supervisors on club shows where necessary

Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Three (3) plus years of work experience in entertainment production in management positions.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
Work Location & Hours
This full-time position is primarily an in-office position in our Phoenix corporate office. Regular travel to shows and events sites is required. Evening and weekend work is required.
Physical Requirements
May experience a wide range of temperature climates on job sites, including extreme outdoor heat and cool temperatures
Ability to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
Ascending/descending stairs.
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing. or sitting for prolonged periods.
