We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated professional to join our team as the Production Operations Manager. The Production Operations Manager should have proven success leading production departments, handle high pressure, work in a fast-paced environment, and be motivated to make improvements while maintaining project schedules to drive projects to completion.
Duties And Responsibilities
Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision
Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and provides strategic solutions
Work closely and partner with Human Resources focusing on culture, onboarding, retention, turnover, compensation, and training
Works with sales teams to help set and meet daily and quarterly goals
Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes
Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics
Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution
Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies
Analyzing training needs/requirements
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace
Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees
Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in program management, business or public administration, technical management, engineering, or related fields
Minimum of 5 years of recent production management experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience may be considered equivalent if experience demonstrated increased depth and breadth of responsibility
Strong team-building skills to develop subordinate managers is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven record in training employees
Ability to coach and motivate employees
