Job Summary
Under direction of a Production Supervisor, lead and direct production operators to manufacture medical products in a timely manner and with a high regard for safety and quality, while following GMP guidelines. Activities can include; motivation and development of employees through coaching/corrective actions up to and including training, employee scheduling, inventory analysis/control, participating in quality audits, improving efficiencies of manual and machine related tasks, performing minor machine maintenance, assisting in implementing company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing environment .
Experience running manufacturing equipment and/or have a level of mechanical aptitude.
Possess basic reading and math skills.
Oversee the safe work practices of all personnel in production area.
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in assigned work area(s)
Possess good communication and organization skills.
Have working knowledge of applicable SOPs.
Ensure an accurate, timely, and completeness of production paperwork.
Have thorough oversight of machine operation, workflow, safety, and quality.
Ensure all job components are correct, in good supply, and properly positioned on the production line.
Willing to work shifts, including weekends/overtime as required.
Maintain a clean work environment .
Assist shift supervisor as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Able to lift to 50 pounds.
