Position Overview:
The Fampreneurs, an influential black-owned family-based coaching business, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Podcast Production Intern. This role is crucial in supporting the production of our inspiring podcast series, contributing significantly to the expansion and influence of our brand. Key Responsibilities:
Pre-production Setup: Ensure the studio and all equipment are fully operational at least one hour before recording begins, including the setup of all recording equipment.
Podcast Recording Support: Operate cameras during podcast recording sessions to capture high-quality video footage.
Guest Management: Welcome and assist guests, providing a comfortable and positive experience.
Audio and Lighting Control: Adjust and manage lighting and audio levels to ensure optimal recording quality, including setting up microphones and sound checks for guests.
Footage Handling: Coordinate the transfer of raw footage to the editing team efficiently and systematically, facilitating a seamless post-production workflow.
Studio Upkeep: Maintain the studio’s cleanliness and organization, upholding a professional workspace.
Qualifications:
Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in media production, communications, or a related field.
Fundamental knowledge of camera operations and podcast production technology.
Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
Mandatory Platforms, Softwares and Skills Experience:
Competency in using audio-visual equipment, including audio setup for podcasts.
Knowledge of advanced video and audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Basic proficiency with editing software.
Nice to Have Platforms, Softwares and Skills Experience:
Experience in a podcast production setting.
Background in guest management or customer service roles.
