Production EHS Manager

Position: Production EHS Manager

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay: $90k to $120k/year (depending on experience)

Experience: 5 years of site EHS experience preferred

Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety, biology, chemistry, or a related field; Master's Degree in EHS preferred; CSP/CIH Certifications strongly preferred

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Greene Resources is seeking a Production EHS Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive EHS programs on the regional level report on metrics; enforce innovative methods to increase operational efficiency
• Lead and manage EHS-related projects
• Chair site and divisional EHS and Fleet Committees
• Develop budget and analyze the costs and benefits of old and new initiatives
• Mentor and develop the knowledge base of junior staff
• Coach and mentor site supervisors in EHS responsibilities
• Collaborate effectively with site leaders to continuously improve safety
• Manage divisional incident reporting and resolution
• Act as interim EHS Director when the director is out of office or traveling

Position Requirements:

• Ability to attain PIT and safe driving certifications within the first 6 months of employment
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task and set priorities
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time
