Production Coordinator

  • Job Summary:
    • This position requires coordination between the individual and all shop personnel to ensure that everyone is on task throughout the day. Time management and project prioritization are the keys for success.


  • Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To) The Following:
    • Opening of production facility every morning prior to the arrival of other team members.
    • Monitoring and communicating of all aspects of the production schedule as established by the Director of Operations.
      • Placement of job materials on corresponding display platforms for each workstation.
      • Ensuring that the automatic bending equipment has the appropriate materials queued for the production that is required.
      • Ensuring that the manual bending equipment is processing the appropriate job material.
  • Understanding and ability to operate all equipment within the environment. This includes (but is not limited to):
    • Shear
    • Automated/Manual benders
    • Forklift
    • Crane
    • Yard Tractor
  • Ensuring all materials for each delivery are properly loaded and accounted for prior to departure.
    • This includes bringing in the loading of full and partial bundles of material as warranted.


  • Qualifications/Knowledge Expectations:
    • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail along with time management. This includes the ability to multi-task as required. Ability to produce and maintain appropriate paperwork is a must.
      • This paperwork includes any necessary OSHA documentation requirements.
  • Strong communication skills required. Position responsible for interacting with team members and customers (either in person or via telephone).
  • Experience operating a forklift (or similar equipment).
    • Must either have a valid forklift operator's certification or be willing to obtain one.
  • Ability to operate as well as perform routine equipment maintenance.
    • i.e., Machine lubrication, bolt/screw tightening, etc.
  • Basic math proficiency (Used in counting and inventory control).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as required.
  • Basic computer skills along with Microsoft Office experience.
  • Compensation
    • After first 90 days:
      • Monthly production incentive available.
      • 401k match dollar for dollar up to the first 4%
