EnVogue is seeking a Production Coordinator with ideally a background in home/soft goods or textiles. This role involves overseeing operations with overseas factories, including managing incoming shipments, sample approvals, lab dip approvals, maintaining time and action calendars, handling costing, negotiation, and ensuring follow-ups with factories.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production for all active orders, ensuring adherence to scheduled delivery and quality standards throughout the process.
- Supervising and managing the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced efficiently and in accordance with quality standards.
- Coordinate communication with overseas vendors regarding production orders, encompassing sample approval, costing, production timelines, packaging, and purchase order placement.
- Negotiate costs with factories for order placement.
- Evaluate lab dips, pre-production (PP), and top-of-production (TOP) samples.
- Analyze cost comparisons among various vendors and determine factory allocation.
- Generating reports on production metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and making recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain an archive of all production samples for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Fashion merchandising/marketing, business, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in home goods, textile, fashion, or apparel industry in product development or production
- Knowledgeable of textiles (bedding, window curtains, pillows, table/kitchen linen), fabrics, textile printing methods, embroideries.
- Knowledgeable of product packaging
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent in Mandarin or Hindi strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year*

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
Work Location: In-person
