Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Selkirk Sport Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of our pickleball paddles. This position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment, ensuring the production of top-notch products that meet our quality standards. Qualifications:

  • No experience necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Paddle Assembly: Assemble pickleball paddles according to established guidelines and quality standards. This includes attaching grips, inspecting materials, and following precise instructions to produce high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on assembled paddles to identify and address any defects or imperfections. Ensure that finished products meet Selkirk Sport's quality standards.
  • Material Handling: Responsible for the proper handling and organization of raw materials, ensuring a smooth flow of production. This may include lifting and moving materials, as well as maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in production processes.

Selkirk requires a 3-month probationary period before being considered for direct employment.

Starting wage: $18 per hour depending on experience

Schedule depending on business needs:

either 6:30am to 5:00pm Monday thru Thursday, providing for a 3 day weekend

or 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday thru Thursday, with 8:00am to 12:00pm Fridays.
