The Manufacturing Production Associate assembles mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. An ideal candidate is able to work independently, as well as on a team, with great attention to detail. The goal is to ensure that assemblies meet both our quality standards and production timelines.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manufacturing duties will vary and could include:
operating machinery and test equipment
hand and wave soldering
operating small hand tools
touch-up/repair
Ensure assemblies meet quality standards
Follow manufacturing aides and assembly work instructions
Cleaning, organizing duties(5S) as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials, typically less than 10lbs.
Regularly sit, stand, bend and reach
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Prior experience in electro-mechanical production preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, reports, and documents. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple site functions and team members. Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
