Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-time Roofing Production Assistant to join the RoofingCo.com team. The primary responsibilities of this role include coordinating and checking in material deliveries, overseeing subcontractors on job sites, and purchasing additional necessary materials during builds. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect deliveries of roofing materials
Ensure accurate quantities and quality of materials received
Organize and store materials efficiently on site
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient work completion
Support roofing crew with additional materials or tools needed
Communicate regularly with production manager regarding progress and challenges
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications:
Prior experience in construction or roofing preferred
Familiarity with roofing materials and their applications
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in outdoor environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
Schedule and Compensation:
This is a part-time position, typically requiring 30 hours per week
Scheduling will be based on project needs
Compensation will be based upon experience and qualifications
