Core Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist producers, directors, and other team members with various tasks to ensure smooth production workflows.
• Conduct research for news stories, gather relevant information, and assist in the development of story ideas.
• Help set up and break down equipment for field shoots and studio productions, ensuring all technical aspects are in place.
• Operate teleprompters, cameras, and other production equipment as needed during broadcasts.
• Perform various administrative duties such as logging footage, organizing files, and maintaining production schedules.
• Be prepared to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as news events dictate.
• Take initiative to learn new skills, stay updated with industry trends, and seek opportunities for professional development.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media studies, or a related field preferred.
• \ Previous experience in a production or media environment via professional experience (work or internship)
• Basic knowledge of production equipment and software, including cameras, teleprompters, and editing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
