Production Assistant

Our client is a fashion brand specializing in luxury women's ready-to-wear fashion based in Miami; sold in over 250 boutiques worldwide and sold in all luxury department stores. They are seeking a Production Assistant to join their dynamic team at their Miami Headquarters. This role will be responsible for Purchase orders and communicating daily with overseas factories. This Production assistant will work closely with the Warehouse, Tech team and Overseas factories to smooth the transition of all packages.

This position will report to the Production Manager and Director.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Process all Factory PO’s, and prepare all allocation packages. All styles and collection are entered into WIP (Work in Progress Chart) + AIMS system. Responsible for updating changes to WIPs in multiple systems to ensure accurate production data.
• Daily communication with factories to follow up on packages, and production submissions.
• Follow up with shipping and Postal service on package delays, shipping, and delivery issues.
• File and organize all production approvals for reference.
• Handle other production related responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• 1-2 years of production experience preferred.
• Apparel or Luxury Industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of production/manufacturing process flow.
• Excellent computer skills, must be proficient in MS office including Excel/Google Sheets
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle high volume email traffic.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. This is driven by the ability to effectively prioritize tasks based upon the degree of urgency
