Job Overview:

As a Junior Production Assistant, you will be supporting our production team, providing essential assistance across various stages of the production cycle. From ordering and receiving garment components to quality control and communication with vendors, your role will be vital in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and effectively. You will work closely with the production manager, design teams, and vendors to ensure that all production milestones are met and that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Production Manager in assisting with sample management, data entry and departmental tasks.
• Communicate cross-functionally internally, and externally with wholesale, domestic, and oversea agents, vendors, and manufacturers via email, or in person as required.
• Track bulk production progress to ensure it meets required timelines, exercising appropriate judgment to elevate issues/ delays as needed.
• Manage and track samples ensuring internal deadlines are met, as well as raising any concerns regarding design or product development.
• Maintain communication with Brand Manager for pre-production samples, lab dips, and bulk fabric approvals.
• Assist with the approval of bulk/TOP Production to ensure standards and guidelines are adhered to.
• Act as point of contact between Production manager and Brand Manager to ensure all PO details are maintained and accurate.
• As required, support the Production Manager in updating internal documents and systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apparel production or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Airtable and Shiphero is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
