YOUR MISSION:

A Production Artist on the Puma North America, Inc. Creative Services team utilizes global and regional creative to build a wide range of marketing materials including out of home, in-store graphics, emails, site & app deliverables, paid social, banners and more. They must strike the perfect balance of meeting the needs of the briefer (and the region) while also respecting the global creative direction of any given campaign and ensuring that overall brand standards are being met. They have mastered their technical knowledge and can figure out how to build even the most complex deliverables.

The Production Artist will continue to learn and broaden their technical knowledge and skills, with the goal of being able to independently tackle any deliverable that is thrown their way. Responsibilities include:

  • Adhere to brand guidelines and internal production standards related to mechanical build and file management.
  • Release print-ready files, while maintaining high standards of design and typography.
  • Follow production schedules to ensure tasks are being completed on time.
  • Provide production expertise and troubleshoot issues.
  • Participate in status meetings and production discussion sessions.
  • Basic Retouching and video editing skills
  • Ever evolving and continuous learning of paid media best practices and ensuring they are properly adhered to.
  • Build templates for commonly-used specs to maximize efficiency.

YOUR TALENT:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or relevant field of study.
  • 2–4 years relevant experience in print/brand design.
  • Fluent in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation.
  • Thorough understanding of print process, color theory and typography.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Process-oriented self-starter.
  • Must be able to follow and understand external publication's spec sheet.
  • Strong attention to detail, providing final files that are accurate with minimal to no error.
  • Has the ability to build strong partnerships with various PUMA stakeholders and external partners to build a seamless workflow.
  • Is able to work successfully under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Flexible and positive energy.
