Product Specialist 1

Summary:

The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates the value of a product technology to advance customers objectives
• Provides insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products
• Analyzes and applies industry, competition and market knowledge to present the positive value of our solutions.
• Recommends product and service configurations to assist with any system design and integration necessary
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
• Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team

• Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
  
  

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• 0-2 years experience required.
  
  

Key Notes / Necessary Attributes

• Must have experience in the IoT domain.
• Must have working experience with Lua and Python scripting.
• Exposure and knowledge of Azure/AWS IoT Services, including IoT hub, function, edge, and related components.
• Automation - Automation Protocols (Modbus, EthernetIP), OPC, instrumentation, PLC's.
• Ability to quickly evaluate and determine the validity and applicability of new IoT technologies
• Good knowledge of designing software systems and producing high-quality code.
• Experience with Databases, Storage, OSI PI Historian
  
  

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
