Position Overview
I am looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team at Pine & Pepper in managing our existing product development & manufacturing. We currently have 4 physical products and are looking to expand our product offerings. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading the development of new products from concept to sourcing to launch. Our Brand is led by Cathy Yoder “The REAL Air Fryer Queen”, with a YouTube channel of 700k+ subscribers.
Key Responsibilities
Identify product opportunities and conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product concepts and specifications that align with business objectives and customer requirements.
Work with internal teams to develop product names, branding, and positioning strategies that resonate with target customers.
Develop detailed product development plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Manage the product development process, including prototyping, testing, and iteration, to ensure that products meet quality standards and performance requirements.
Source and manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure timely and cost-effective production of products.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing content, packaging, and promotional materials for new product launches.
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience in product development, preferably in consumer space.
Proven track record of successfully bringing new products to market from concept to launch.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software is a plus.
