Job Description

Responsible for supporting the Product Manager in the execution and delivery of CoBank's capabilities, customer and associate experiences. Partners and develops relationships with stakeholders to align with business strategy and quickly respond to opportunities. Effectively prioritizes the Agile Team backlog, within the SAFe Agile framework, to deliver the most valuable initiatives for the Bank and its customers. Is responsible for building the backlog of work delivables in Azure Dev Ops by decomposing prioritized Features into the detailed User Stories for their Agile delivery team. In partnership with the Product Manager and Scrum Master, identifies, assesses, arbitrates and resolves conflicts and/or variances between functional group sub-processes and customer requirements. Oversees work process standardization, documentation, optimization and scalability.

Essential Functions

  • Manages planning and delivery of key themes, through translating and decomposing Features and User Stories. Works with Agile Delivery teams to organize and prioritize work efforts through Planning Intervals (PI).
  • Drives Agile team PI objectives with business outcomes and success metrics, design thinking, customer feedback and competitive analysis.
  • Works with and assists Product Manager in the identification and establishment of the desired future state, development of a strategic roadmap relating to E2E processes, data, supporting features & functionality, controls required to ensure dependability, scalability and defensibility. Works with Leadership to communicate desired future state across relevant CoBank departments, functional and sub-process groups.
  • Crafts user stories for the enterprise capability, working directly with the delivery teams to deliver value.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to coordinate and manage resources and activities maximizing impact and overall return on investment.
  • Works across team to ascertain, review and address the effectiveness and optimization challenges, and works with Leadership and across the governance structure to mitigate and resolve risks and issues relating to: associate engagement, behaviors, knowledge and skills, organizational priorities and/or dependencies, change and process improvement challenges.
  • Interfaces with 3rd party vendors and contractors, where required, to deliver necessary pieces of our technical product with time-to-market excellence.
  • Responsible for understanding the market and farm credit’s niche landscape in order to maintain competitiveness. Ensures product compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards. Maintains expertise regarding competition, best practices and benchmarks.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Work Experience

5 years of experience in financial industry, required

5 years of experience with Platform/ Program/ Product Management/Consulting, required

Deep experience working with Technology, Data, UX

The typical base pay range for this role is between $105,222.77 - $146,312.26. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
