Job Title: Business Analyst (Consultant)

Job location: Remote

Job duration: 9 months of contract


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders to drive product strategy and prioritization for BlueYonder SCPO solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between the USF replenishment function and development team, communicating customer needs and requirements.
  • Deliver products and services on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Own and maintain the team backlog, continuously refining and prioritizing tasks.
  • Facilitate feature delivery by improving development processes in collaboration with the Scrum Master.
  • Work within an Agile framework to develop and execute a product roadmap.
  • Create detailed user stories with requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Sprint Demos.
  • Track and report metrics on the value of delivered features and team output.
  • Prioritize and deliver work to ensure enterprise value.
  • Manage product upgrades to avoid technical debt.
  • Drive innovation and future-proofing for products.
  • Handle product team operations, including financial management and resourcing.
  • Anticipate and manage escalations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Supervision

Lead the product team in achieving sprint goals, without formal management responsibilities.

Relationships

Internal: Business Stakeholders, End Users, IT Leadership, Scrum Masters, Developers, Architects, UX Designers, Program Managers.

External: Application/Systems Vendors (as applicable).

Work Environment

Up to 10% travel on an ad-hoc basis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership/Product Management, Business Consulting, IT Business Analysis, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with BlueYonder SCPO supply chain planning solutions, focusing on demand planning and/or fulfillment modules as a functional consultant, solution architect, or technical lead. (7+ years preferred)
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile or SAFe certification(s).
  • Ability to influence change within large, complex organizations.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Atlassian) and flowchart tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid Chart).
  • Experience with databases (e.g., Oracle) and large datasets, with understanding of coding techniques used in SCPO.
  • Detailed understanding of demand planning processes in retail or the food industry, and overall supply chain planning processes.
  • Familiarity with applying AI/ML to improve planning process efficiency and accuracy.
