Product Owner

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Product Owner at 10X Health System, you will be responsible for representing the business team in prioritizing features for development, approving user stories, and ensuring clear communication flows between stakeholders and development teams. You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing product strategy, engaging in business case development, and ensuring adherence to the Agile Scrum process. This role is pivotal in building and scaling 10X Health System’s products, driving adoption, and ensuring alignment with our mission to optimize health and wellness through innovative healthcare solutions.

OBJECTIVES

• Define and communicate the product vision, objectives, and goals
• Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business and customer needs
• Share knowledge and best practices with the technical support team and other relevant stakeholders
• Work directly with engineering teams to write and refine user stories, plan sprints, and manage the product backlog
• Facilitate Agile product ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Conduct market analysis to identify healthcare industry trends, competitive landscape, and stakeholder needs
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with product development efforts
• Develop go-to-market strategies and manage product launches, ensuring successful introduction to the market
• Track product metrics to ensure products meet customer needs and business objectives
• Represent the team to external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of product progress
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and engineering teams to prioritize user experience and design considerations in product development

COMPETENCIES

• Strong understanding of product development from ideation to launch
• Ability to define product requirements and conduct market research
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, customer experience, sales, and marketing
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in product owner or management roles, with a focus on Agile product development
• Experience in the healthcare industry or a deep understanding of healthcare operations and regulations is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer
