ROLE SUMMARY
The Product Marketing Manager is the glue between our Brand Marketing and Product Development teams, helping to bring the brand and innovation to life through our product assortment with an obsession on our consumer. This role provides analysis and attention to detail as they execute product strategy and coordinate cross-functionally.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the product marketing strategies and act as project manager for all new item launches and product related projects
Maintain awareness of key industry trends, consumer interests and market indicators
Perform competitor analysis and identify brand differentiators and opportunities
Inform product category strategy including skincare, color cosmetics, hair, accessories, etc.
Draft product briefs including positioning, story development, and benchmarking
Lead cross-functional communication between marketing and product development
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive branding across all touchpoints including packaging, copy, assets, email, social media, ecommerce, fixtures, customer service, etc.
Proactively communicate progress, concerns and solutions to keep efforts on target
Assist with pricing strategy and COGS management
Help with product launch calendar
Support the Marketing department with the execution and monitoring of launches and activations
Support packaging design, including direction, artwork, approvals, dielines, and range boards
Draft, review, and submit packaging copy for approval, being mindful of claims and regulatory
Ensure products, packaging, and messaging are in line with brand voice and direction
Contribute to sampling strategies and coordinate with third party agencies
Assist with content development and copywriting
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 Years of Relevant Marketing Experience
Minimum of 2 Years in Haircare Category
Strong Knowledge of Brand & Product Marketing
Experience with broader Beauty & Personal Care Industries Preferred
