Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Become an expert in enterprise digital merchandising tools: namely the inriver PIM, and Attraqt's Fredhopper. Both of these tools are SaaS based solutions powering Client's modernized global eCommerce platform.
- Your first project will be to develop, own, and execute a Global Go-To-Market Training & Activation Plan for new critical businesses tools - namely: PIM, Fredhopper, and Promotions tools to start. (In the future it's likely there will be other tools added to the digital ecosystem that you will cover as well). The Go-To-Market plan will last for the duration of the new platform rollout which will be 2-3 years. The Go-To-Market Plan will include the following:
- A global training strategy for PIM, Fredhopper, and Promotions tools - with the goal of driving successful B2B adoption and usage across our organization.
- You will work with Product Management to gather materials that already exist for MVP training, scope a detailed training experience in the Enterprise Learning System.
- You will work directly with Training Content Creators who will develop the actual content to go into the training tools.
- Importantly: until training material is created, you will be running some of the key trainings live (via zoom meetings with end-business-users).
- It will be your responsibility to ensure the training resonates with our target users, who are eCommerce business leaders.
- You will be responsible for gathering ongoing feedback from end-users, and feedback insights back to Product Management to improve the tools ongoing.
- A global activation strategy for PIM, Fredhopper, & Promotions Tools, to ensure that once end-users are trained in these tools, they are empowered and given the right information to strategically use them to activate smart merchandising and content campaigns that yield tangible growth for the business.
- You will work cross-functionally with brand-specific digital expert teams, product teams, and market-level eCommerce teams to serve as the expert for these two tools.
- You should be able to explain how to drive business growth by strategically using these tools.
- You will be responsible for documenting strategic activation playbooks (both enterprise wide and market specific) for how to best leverage capabilities to drive KPIs.
- Be able to steer meetings & brainstorm sessions, with a laser-focused mindset on producing results. Our global brands each have different needs and big ideas; and you must be able to sift through the thousands of requirements and ideas to identify what can really move the needle in a timely fashion.
- Work collaboratively across key teams within the organization.
Needed Skills
- A proactive go-getter. Must be action oriented and proactive - identify gaps and suggest solutions on your own accord vs. waiting for someone to outline tasks for you.
- Excellent soft skills and ability to create relationships with brands and key stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills (must be strong in putting together powerpoint presentations and other marketing material, as well as delivering presentations in person/on zoom to large audiences and senior stakeholders)
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Must have an affinity for documentation and writing. You will be responsible for translating technical capability into compelling business benefits.
- Vocal, assertive, confident, proactive, quick, organized, self starter, process oriented, problem solver, analytical thinking
- A very strong understanding of how features & functionalities work on a software platform, and the ability to translate these technical functions into non-technical business benefits for global beauty brands
- A strong understanding of things like software analytics and data analysis, and how to work with such product teams to gather data-driven insights
- A strong understanding of how to set OKRs/KPIs and track towards achieving specific metrics.
- Comfortable operating in a highly complex matrix environment
- Ability to form a general understanding of how the full Client's Online system fits together and use this knowledge to communicate with brand stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in eCommerce Business Management or eCommerce Product Management or Product Marketing (ideal if a combination of these).
