Position Details

  • Title: Product Manager, Upstream Marketing
  • Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will have 1-3 years of project or product management experience.
  • Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, flexible. *This position is ONSITE in an office setting with hybrid opportunities.
  • Location: Gibbstown, NJ (08027)

Reporting Relationship

Direct to business-unit leader; dotted line to corporate Marketing leader

Essential Functions

  • Collect and interpret voice of customer (VOC) input and monitor competitive activity in order to define market requirements and contribute toward market research to help inform the business plans
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate product performance, domestic & international market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market and/or new product opportunities for Keystone
  • Develop the business case for new opportunities including defining the market and customer needs, financial modeling and data analysis to quantify the sales and profit, value proposition and assessment of the strategic fit within the business unit
  • Collaborate closely with R&D to translate customer requirements and unmet customer needs into innovations, product specifications, and essential operational requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional project teams, including regulatory, finance, operations, quality, legal, and other functions to help define innovations and guide projects through to completion
  • Provide leadership by representing the customer with internal project teams
  • Provides leadership by serving as the product expert to downstream and commercial teams and with customers.
  • Partner with downstream and commercial teams to develop forecasts, pricing, initial launch and communication plans, and to ensure seamless transition into commercialization stages
  • Seek cross-functional input to define packaging, legal, regulatory and quality assurance guidelines
  • Understands project timeline and makes and presents recommendations based on risk analysis when project is off course.
  • Trade show attendance and support as required to gather VOC input
  • Other duties/projects as needed or requested by Management.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of project management or product management work experience, or a strong and demonstrable interest in product development / medical field.
  • High attention to detail with strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and disciplined self-starter with an innate curiosity for learning and trying new things.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent interpersonal skills- ability to interface and communicate/collaborate at all levels, internally and externally.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with ERP, MRP or similar Inventory Management System
  • Experience with ISO - quality assurance / quality control systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FDA, cGMP, OSHA, EPA, MDR standards
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience in product development and product transition into operational environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage others and ensure adherence to project schedules

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
